Final push for a vote on GMO labeling

Our support for transparency is a cornerstone of the Pirate Party and the reason we support labeling GMOs in food.

The Massachusetts House is back in session and while the GMO labeling bill has widespread support, it still hasn’t gone to a vote.  If it isn’t voted on by July 31st, it is dead for this session.

Please use this form to contact your state representative and urge them to support labeling GMOs.

If you are in downtown Boston tomorrow, June 8th, Right To Know GMO Massachusetts is holding a Lunch-In for Labeling from noon to 1pm on the State House steps. There will be snacks and yummy samples provided by their sponsors, but please plan on packing your own lunch. Bring your picnic blanket and we’ll make it a picnic with a purpose! There will be speakers, discussions and opportunities to meet with legislators.
