While in 2012 we got more accomplished than in 2011 what with our March conference<\/a>, helping with the CryptoParty<\/a>, being at Hope 9<\/a> in NYC and Together Boston<\/a>, as well as our large turnouts at Freedom Rally<\/a> and Boston Pride<\/a>, there is so much more we can do. \u00a0On just the election front there are\u00a02013 town & city elections as well as the 2014 town & Massachusetts legislature elections. \u00a0There are more events we should be at, local chapters to start, positions we need to take and friends & issues we need to help.<\/p>\n

I, 1st Officer Lauren, Quartermaster Lucia, all around jack of all trades Erik, and everyone else in the Pirate crew hope you will join us for the first of our\u00a0monthly in-person meetings this Sunday, the 11th, from 2-4pm at 25 Moore St., Somerville (aka Pirate central).<\/p>\n

If you cannot make the meeting, don’t worry, there is too much to decide in one meeting of course. \u00a0We are planning to have these meetings once a month and have a poll up for\u00a0one in December<\/a>\u00a0so you can help pick a date for it.<\/p>\n

Feel free to offer your suggestions on this page for where we should focus our dry power, events we need to storm and positions we need to take.<\/p>\n

Finally, we have nearly $200 in our treasure chest after paying for banners and event tables and the like. \u00a0If you could see fit to\u00a0share some of your hard won cash<\/a>, we would be mighty thankful. \u00a0Of course, we are always looking for\u00a0volunteers<\/a>.<\/p>\n
