We knew it was coming. \u00a0Finally, the Senate is considering a Fast Track Trade bill<\/a> that would make secret trade treaties such as the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) easier to get through Congress.<\/p>\n

The TPP, along with its Atlantic counterpart, the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) are scarcely about trade. \u00a0Whether with copyright, patents, DRM or corporate rights<\/a>, they are simply tools to increase the power and profits of corporations at our expense.<\/p>\n

Now more than ever, we need to contact Congress and tell them no more trade deals that sacrifice our rights!<\/p>\n
