In particular, today was about building legislative support for the <a href=\"http:\/\/sensenbrenner.house.gov\/legislation\/theusafreedomact.htm\" target=\"_blank\">USA Freedom Act<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>I called my congressional representatives, and here&#8217;s what their offices had to say.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Katherine Clark (202-225-2836).  Representative Clark&#8217;s office tells me that she supports the USA Freedom Act.\n<li>Ed Markey (202-224-2742).  Senator Markey&#8217;s office points out that he was one of the first co-sponsors of <a href=\"http:\/\/beta.congress.gov\/bill\/113th-congress\/senate-bill\/1599\" target=\"_blank\">S.1599<\/a>, the senate version of the USA Freedom Act.\n<li>Elizabeth Warren (202-224-4543).  When I called Senator Warren&#8217;s office, I got their voicemail system, and left a message voicing my concerns about NSA surveillance.  Senator Warren is also a co-sponsor of S.1599.\n<\/ul>\n<p>In Massachusetts, we have unanimous support among our senators, and <a href=\"http:\/\/beta.congress.gov\/bill\/113th\/house-bill\/3361\/cosponsors?q={%22search%22%3A[%22H.R.3361%22]%2C%22cosponsor-state%22%3A%22Massachusetts%22}\" target=\"_blank\">good<\/a> (but not unanimous) support among our Congressional representatives.
