An Act assuring municipal control of military equipment procurement by local law enforcement<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/malegislature.gov\/Bills\/189\/House\/H2170\">H.2170<\/a> &#8211; An Act promoting the use of body-worn cameras by law enforcement &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/warrantless.org\/2015\/02\/sd1546\/\">Here is Alex Marthew&#8217;s take<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The <span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bpcat.org\/\">Boston Police Camera Action Team (BPCAT)<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/orgs.law.harvard.edu\/blsa\/\">Harvard Black Law Students Association (BLSA)<\/a> drafted a <a href=\"http:\/\/issuu.com\/ccyancey\/docs\/aclum_boston_city_council__ordinanc?e=11811396\/14739898\">Boston Police Body Camera Use &amp; Procedure ordinance<\/a>.\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.charlescyancey.com\/\">Boston City Councilor Charles Yancey<\/a>, who represents Dorchester and Roxbury, introduced it.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/malegislature.gov\/Bills\/189\/House\/H3383\">H.3383<\/a> &#8211; An Act relative to the digital right to repair &#8211; This one is near and dear to our belief that what you own is yours to tinker with.<\/p>\n<p>Also, the Massachusetts ACLU has a <a href=\"https:\/\/aclum.org\/our-work\/legislative-priorities\/\">large number of bills under consideration<\/a> only a few are listed below:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/malegislature.gov\/Bills\/189\/Senate\/S903\" target=\"_blank\">S.903<\/a> \/ <a href=\"https:\/\/malegislature.gov\/Bills\/189\/House\/H1531\" target=\"_blank\">H.1531<\/a> &#8211; Electronic Privacy Act<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/malegislature.gov\/Bills\/189\/Senate\/S962\" target=\"_blank\">S.962<\/a> \/ <a href=\"https:\/\/malegislature.gov\/Bills\/189\/House\/H386\" target=\"_blank\">H.386<\/a> &#8211; Social Media Privacy Act<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/malegislature.gov\/Bills\/189\/Senate\/S377\" target=\"_blank\">S.377<\/a>) \/ <a href=\"https:\/\/malegislature.gov\/Bills\/189\/House\/H553\" target=\"_blank\">H.553<\/a> &#8211; Military-grade Controlled Property<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/malegislature.gov\/Bills\/189\/Senate\/S735\" target=\"_blank\">S.735<\/a> \/ <a href=\"https:\/\/malegislature.gov\/Bills\/189\/House\/H1577\" target=\"_blank\">H.1577<\/a>\u00a0 &#8211; Transgender Non-Discrimination<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/malegislature.gov\/Bills\/189\/House\/H2070\" target=\"_blank\">H.2070<\/a> &#8211; Act to Improve Healthcare for Young Women<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Bills to oppose<\/strong><br \/>\nHollywood already has its tax break that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bostonglobe.com\/opinion\/2015\/05\/22\/mass-film-tax-credit-pays-dividends-for-hollywood\/Qs3qPKky1mKJmhPAmFG6QP\/story.html\">costs us $80 million a year<\/a> with a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bostonglobe.com\/business\/2014\/09\/18\/cost-film-tax-credit-per-mass-job\/LGHOSjvkPrfwMyK4xYS79N\/story.html\">cost per local job of $108,000<\/a>.\u00a0 Two new bills would expand that tax credit to the video games industry and research and development:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/malegislature.gov\/Bills\/189\/House\/H2487\">H.2487<\/a> &#8211; An Act relative to increasing economic development and business opportunity in the design and manufacture of video games through the use of tax credits<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/malegislature.gov\/Bills\/189\/House\/H2606\">H.2606<\/a> &#8211; An Act relative to tax credits, education and training for the design and development of video game and interactive digital media products<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/malegislature.gov\/Bills\/189\/Senate\/S1572\">S.1572<\/a><span> &#8211;
