{"id":4145,"date":"2015-11-06T09:30:48","date_gmt":"2015-11-06T14:30:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/masspirates.org\/blog\/?p=4145"},"modified":"2015-11-06T09:04:39","modified_gmt":"2015-11-06T14:04:39","slug":"tpp-text-is-finally-public-and-is-it-a-doozy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/masspirates.org\/blog\/2015\/11\/06\/tpp-text-is-finally-public-and-is-it-a-doozy\/","title":{"rendered":"TPP text is finally public and is it a doozy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Following on <a href=\"http:\/\/tpp.mfat.govt.nz\/text\">New Zealand&#8217;s release of the TPP text<\/a>, the <a href=\"https:\/\/medium.com\/the-trans-pacific-partnership\">US Trade Representative released the text<\/a> in an even more difficult to review\u00a0way. \u00a0Thankfully, people have put the TPP text up as a zip of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dropbox.com\/s\/fehtq18z5zpzzof\/TPP%20Total.zip?dl=0\">pdfs<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dropbox.com\/s\/qdbo3b4ova68cmh\/tpphtml.zip?dl=0\">html<\/a> files. \u00a0The Washington Post made the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/news\/the-fix\/wp\/2015\/11\/05\/we-made-president-obamas-big-tpp-trade-deal-searchable\/\">main text searchable<\/a>, but not all the bilateral annexes.<\/p>\n<p>Here is what we know:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>It extends the term of copyright by five years (lifetime plus 75 years);<\/li>\n<li>Internet service providers must give your name if copyright holders request it;<\/li>\n<li>ISPs must remove material upon receipt of a copyright claim;
