Besides our usual administrative status reports, at Monday’s IRC meeting<\/a> we will be discussing and voting on whether to endorse\u00a0H.2169<\/a> \u2013 An Act assuring municipal control of military equipment procurement by local law enforcement. \u00a0It shouldn’t be<\/span>\u00a0controversial when it comes to Pirate principals.<\/p>\n

We have a number of bills to consider<\/a>, so we will be going over a couple every week until we are done. \u00a0If you have any bills you think we should choose to endorse or oppose, please add them as a comment.<\/p>\n

To join the IRC meeting from 9pm to 10pm tonight:<\/p>\n

  2. Fill out the web form with the Nickname of your choice and enter #masspirates in the Channel box next to it, then click the Connect button<\/li>\n

    We also have two campaign meetings upcoming on\u00a0Nov. 15th<\/a> and Dec. 6th<\/a>. \u00a0We would appreciate it if you registered so we know how large to make the reservations. \u00a0Both meetings will be at the\u00a0<\/span>Pizzeria Regina, 353 Cambridge St, Allston (Boston), just off the Pike.<\/span><\/p>\n
