Here is the hearing announcement:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/malegislature.gov\/Events\/Hearings\/Detail\/2634\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">https:\/\/malegislature.gov\/Events\/Hearings\/Detail\/2634<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The hearing will cover:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>S. 820 \/ H. 2316, our asset forfeiture repeal bill, which Digital 4th worked on with the ACLU of Massachusetts:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/malegislature.gov\/Bills\/190\/S820\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">https:\/\/malegislature.gov\/Bills\/190\/S820<\/a><\/li>\n<li>S. 943 \/ H. 2332, which would require a warrant for stingray use:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/malegislature.gov\/Bills\/190\/S943\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">https:\/\/malegislature.gov\/Bills\/190\/S943<\/a><\/li>\n<li>H. 3581, which would require a warrant for drone use and prohibit drones equipped with weapons or facial recognition technology:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/malegislature.gov\/Bills\/190\/H3581\/Cosponsor\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">https:\/\/malegislature.gov\/Bills\/190\/H3581<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Whether you can attend or not, if you\u00a0have time to review the bills, please suggest ideas for testimony. We\u00a0setup\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/piratenpad.de\/p\/20170605MALegPrivacyTestimony\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">https:\/\/piratenpad.de\/p\/20170605MALegPrivacyTestimony<\/a>\u00a0for us to share ideas and text.<\/p>\n<p>While the hearing starts at 1pm, there are so many bills on the agenda that it is likely to run to around 11pm. We don&#8217;t yet know when these bills will come up for public testimony, but a good guess would be any time from 2pm onward, with later being more likely.
