We have long supported RCV\/IRV and use it for our elections. We support these bills:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/malegislature.gov\/Bills\/190\/H2897\">S.380 \/ H.2897<\/a> \u201cAn Act providing a local option for ranked choice voting in city or town elections\u201d<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/malegislature.gov\/Bills\/190\/H377\">H.377<\/a> \u201cAn Act to promote better voting practices\u201d \u2014 \u201c[use of ranked choice voting for state offices:] governor, lieutenant governor, attorney general, secretary of the commonwealth, state treasurer, state auditor, and representative and senator in the general court.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span>Voter Choice Massachusetts, who have led the fight for these bills and RCV\/IRV in Massachusetts, aims to pack the room with at least 50 supporters. They are asking supporters to a<\/span>rrive at 1:30PM so they can prep for the hearing at 2PM.<\/p>\n<p>If you want to testify, <a href=\"mailto:adam@voterchoicema.org,info@masspirates.org?subject=I%20want%20to%20testify%20for%20RCV\">tell Adam<\/a>:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Get to the hearing room (B-1) at 1:30PM on October 12th. Don&#8217;t be late!<\/li>\n<li>Keep your remarks brief (under two minutes) and most importantly, personal.
