We hope the House and President Trump will also decide to support Net Neutrality. While we wait the outcome of that bill, local supporters of\u00a0Net Neutrality are working to build\u00a0a net neutral, community alternative to internet service providers that cares about your privacy:\u00a0<a data-cke-saved-href=\"https:\/\/massmesh.org\/\" href=\"https:\/\/massmesh.org\/\">Mass. Mesh Net<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>At their last tech meeting, volunteers including fellow Pirate<span>\u00a0<\/span>William Fleurant, demonstrated a mesh network connected to the Internet. They are making significant progress\u00a0getting\u00a0a\u00a0mesh router working on inexpensive hardware using free software.\u00a0 The plan is to get it\u00a0ready for others to easily install and use.<\/p>\n<p>To move things along, the<span>\u00a0<\/span>Mass. Mesh Net will\u00a0hold\u00a0weekly tech meetups every Tuesday, 7-9pm. They\u00a0will be at<span>\u00a0<\/span><a data-cke-saved-href=\"https:\/\/www.industry-lab.com\/\" href=\"https:\/\/www.industry-lab.com\/\">Industry Lab<\/a>, 288 Norfolk St, Cambridge. The Mass.
