The House Judiciary IT Bond bill adopts the same language and we need the Senate to add it to their IT Bond bill. <a href=\"https:\/\/action.aclu.org\/send-message\/ma-face-surveillance\">Please contact your state senator today and urge them to do so<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since it is the end of the legislature&#8217;s session, two other good bills need your help:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><a href=\"https:\/\/malegislature.gov\/Bills\/192\/S2944\/BillHistory\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">S2988<\/a>&nbsp;is the Senate&#8217;s forfeiture reform bill.&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/actionnetwork.org\/letters\/ask-your-state-rep-to-support-ma-civil-asset-forfeiture-reform\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Contact your House representative and tell them to vote for it<\/a>;<\/li><li>The&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/miracoalition.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/SCA-ENG-factsheet-2021.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Massachusetts Safe Communities Act<\/a>&nbsp;(<a href=\"https:\/\/malegislature.gov\/Bills\/192\/S1579\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">S.1579<\/a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/malegislature.gov\/Bills\/192\/H2418\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">H.2418<\/a>) would end voluntary police and court involvement in deportations, and communicate loud and clear that in Massachusetts, everyone can seek help, protection and treatment without fear of deportation.&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/actionnetwork.org\/letters\/tell-lawmakers-pass-the-safe-communities-act-this-session\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Tell your legislator they should vote for it<\/a>.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>All three take only a few clicks.
