We are proud to be one of the sponsors of it. <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSerudpGU4BzzMdJF4Ff13lvX06xWXmriCwfih2HHpTsBL4kYw\/viewform\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Please register in advance<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is a free and public gathering that will explore how self-defense is criminalized, particularly for Black, Brown, and marginalized survivors, and how communities can reclaim safety through resistance, advocacy, and care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Featured Speakers will be:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Prof. Alisa Bierria &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/survivedandpunished.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Survived and Punished<\/a> \/ <a href=\"https:\/\/gender.ucla.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">UCLA<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Meg Stone &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/impactboston.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Impact Boston<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Kishana Smith-Osei &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/mawocn\/\">Massachusetts Women of Color Network<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lea Kayali &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.palestinianyouthmovement.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Palestinian Youth Movement<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/pymboston\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Boston<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.communityartcenter.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Community Art Center<\/a> is at&nbsp;119 Windsor Street, Cambridge. It is a nine minute walk from Central Square and the MBTA Red Line stop there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>FREE food and childcare will be provided.
