The BSides Cambridge event is on the same day as our 10/25/2026 Member Meeting. They don't overlap, but since some of us will be teaching people how to protect their privacy at BSides Cambridge, do we want to move this meeting to the week before?

The 2026 national conference functioned as our conference, but our last conference was in 2025. Suggest we:


* Pirate news recording scheduled for every other Sunday, 7pm with go-live at 7:30pm. Unless changed
* contact The Center for Arts at the Armory and see when the ROOTED Café will be open from January 2027 to May 2027 and what the price will be for a 6-8 hour block;
* put out a call for other locations that are accessible, near public transit and parking.

I am scheduling four upcoming Surveillance Mapping outings prior to the Boston Anarchist Bookfair on Nov. 7-8. I haven't heard whether we can have a table at it.


We haven't adhered to our [https://masspirates.org/wiki/Articles_of_Agreement Articles of Agreement]'s [https://masspirates.org/wiki/Articles_of_Agreement#Article_4.0:_Member_Meetings Member Meetings section] strictly since we have existed, specifically the [ https://masspirates.org/wiki/Articles_of_Agreement#4.2_Form Form] and [https://masspirates.org/wiki/Articles_of_Agreement#4.2_Time Time] sections. Meetings have met weekly and bi-weekly (our current form) and not twice a year each over six weeks.
The event days are:


Rework them to:
* 9/12
* 9/19
* 10/10
* 10/31


* Have a section on conferences (possible spring/fall, at least one a year)
I objectives would be to:
* Rework the member meetings to be on-line at least once a month
* Set when elections for the pirate council is and that we can elect people at a conference or on-line by secret ballot
