[9:33pm] moorejoe: ahoy [9:33pm] jokeefe: ahoy moorejoe [9:33pm] Bluestreak: ahoy [9:33pm] jokeefe: agenda https://masspirates.org/wiki/May_21st,_2015_IRC_Meeting [9:33pm] moorejoe: have it open thx [9:34pm] jokeefe: Great [9:35pm] jokeefe: Preferences for the next Pirate Council In-Person Meeting? [9:35pm] jokeefe: and location suggestions? [9:35pm] jokeefe: Worcester public library can work [9:36pm] Jlefty: Farther east would probably work better for everybody else. [9:36pm] Bluestreak: That is a great space. [9:37pm] Bluestreak: I have to agree with jlefty [9:37pm] jokeefe: probably Jlefty [9:37pm] Jlefty: I dont mind the drive [9:37pm] Bluestreak: The Allston pzzeria was pretty good [9:37pm] moorejoe: no preference, most likely I will be unable to attend [9:37pm] Bluestreak: That is a little west. [9:38pm] jokeefe: what can we do to make it easier for you moorejoe? [9:38pm] Bluestreak: And it’s right off the pike. [9:38pm] Bluestreak: Garret K might come if we have it on a Sat. [9:40pm] jokeefe: Weekend of the 30th is out. [9:41pm] jokeefe: Could do it after pride - find a restaurant and have an early dinner [9:43pm] Jlefty: have we ever tried using a doodle pad for scheduling? [9:44pm] jokeefe: yes, writing it now [9:45pm] Bluestreak: We had dinner after Pride last year. It was nice. Hard to find a restaurant, tho... [9:45pm] jokeefe: here is the poll - http://doodle.com/fp8i752pahe4wznw [9:46pm] Jlefty: since we have a lot more to get through before time, I'm share my findings on the flag situation. [9:46pm] jokeefe: please do [9:47pm] Jlefty: From my preliminary research, it seems that custom 3'x5' flags are expensive. I'm talking around $100 each. [9:47pm] moorejoe left the chat room. (Ping timeout: 268 seconds) [9:47pm] Bluestreak: OK [9:47pm] Jlefty: Plain black flags, on the other hand are like 7 each. [9:47pm] Bluestreak: Is 3x5 big enough cap? [9:48pm] jokeefe: Stencil ourselves? [9:48pm] Bluestreak: I’ll buy us some flags. [9:48pm] jokeefe: What about orange flags? [9:48pm] Jlefty: That was my first reaction, stenciling is fun [9:48pm] Bluestreak: I have stenciled silk flags and here is the thing: [9:48pm] moorejoe joined the chat room. [9:49pm] Bluestreak: It bleeds through to the other side [9:49pm] Bluestreak: Of course if there is no words, that is ok [9:49pm] Jlefty: we could go with canvas, that way we could paint both sides [9:49pm] Bluestreak: Hard to catch the wind. [9:50pm] Jlefty: true [9:50pm] Bluestreak: I would like two custom [9:50pm] Bluestreak: That look like the T shirt fronts [9:50pm] Bluestreak: What color cap? [9:51pm] moorejoe: black? [9:51pm] jokeefe: ideally white or black on orange, but if black on white or white on black is cheaper [9:52pm] Jlefty: White on black would be really sexy IMO. Black flags just look so sick [9:52pm] Bluestreak: Cap? [9:52pm] Bluestreak: what say you? [9:52pm] Wiel left the chat room. (Read error: Connection reset by peer) [9:52pm] Bluestreak: Sent you a PM jokeefe [9:53pm] jokeefe: $100 a flag is too much [9:53pm] Jlefty: I can keep on hunting. But what is our per unit budget? [9:55pm] jokeefe: $300 - https://masspirates.org/wiki/2015_Budget [9:55pm] jokeefe: is the total budget [9:56pm] Bluestreak: how many flags you want? [9:57pm] Jlefty: Okay that's cool. A stencil seems like a gift that would keep on giving [9:58pm] jokeefe: wonder if some other pirate party has a flag we can purchase. german pp’s flag is nice, but piraten != pirate [9:58pm] jokeefe: no flag for the uk’s store [9:59pm] jokeefe: we are almost at time. [9:59pm] jokeefe: so Jlefty, please keep looking. [9:59pm] jokeefe: thanks [9:59pm] Jlefty: Will do. [10:00pm] Jlefty: where are we meeting for March against monsanto? [10:00pm] jokeefe: State house, 1pm [10:00pm] js0000 left the chat room. (Quit: leaving) [10:00pm] Jlefty: cool! I've got a guest [10:00pm] jokeefe: yay! [10:00pm] Bluestreak: Awesome [10:01pm] moorejoe: ciao! [10:01pm] moorejoe left the chat room. (Quit: Web client closed) [10:01pm] Jlefty: Peace, see yall there! [10:01pm] jokeefe: motion to adjourn? [10:01pm] Bluestreak: Woo hoo! [10:01pm] Bluestreak: 2nd [10:01pm] jokeefe: all in favor [10:02pm] jokeefe: ? [10:02pm] Bluestreak: aye [10:02pm] Jlefty: aye [10:02pm] jokeefe: aye [10:02pm] Bluestreak: Ta! [10:02pm] Bluestreak left the chat room. [10:02pm] jokeefe: any opposed [10:02pm] jokeefe: ? [10:04pm] jokeefe: motion passes [10:04pm] jokeefe: night all
