21:07 < Joe> That is a good idea, I support it.
21:07 <@jokeefe> perhaps srevilak can help me with how to update in open
street map
21:07 < srevilak> sure
21:07 < Joe> We could make our next video cast on it as well.
21:08 <@jokeefe> possibly, though I think we might need some editing

21:11 <@jokeefe> Video Newsletter/Podcast
21:11 < Malt> :)
21:11 <@jokeefe> Sunday 7pm still a good recording time?
21:11 < srevilak> yes
21:11 < Malt> Think so
21:12 < Joe> May we push it back an hour? I will be coming back from
the boating trip I mentioned during our last cast.
21:12 < srevilak> 8pm? I can do that

our meetings as well.
21:14 < Malt> Cool!
21:14 <@jokeefe> Will send a reminder to the email list.
21:15 < srevilak> Aug 29th, correct?

21:15 <@jokeefe> sure
21:16 <@jokeefe> Regional Meetings/Events
21:16 <@jokeefe> Surveillance Mapping event registration forms are up
21:17 < Malt> Woohoo!
21:18 <@jokeefe> Looks like there are more iOS apps than I thought:
https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Comparison_of_iOS_applications
21:19 <@jokeefe> And Android:
https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Comparison_of_Android_applications
21:20 <@jokeefe> I can check the iOS apps and see if there is one as
good as Pushpin OSM - which is no longer supported
21:20 <@jokeefe> apps, if they work, are easier than paper
21:21 < Malt> Truth
21:21 < Malt> Could we use geotagged photos?
21:21 < Malt> Like, can we access that data on a mobile.photo
21:21 <@jokeefe> Maybe. Haven’t tried that.
21:22 <@jokeefe> BINJ suggested that -
https://medium.com/binj-reports/binjbrother-c1bec615a026#.avwuyfswx
21:22 <@jokeefe> I found apps easier, personally
21:22 < Malt> It'd make it the most accessible
21:23 <@jokeefe> 5 years since they started that.
21:24 < Malt> I trust your expertise
21:24 <@jokeefe> thanks
21:24 <@jokeefe> Party Conference survey is up
21:25 <@jokeefe> if you haven’t filled it out, please do
21:25 <@jokeefe>
https://masspirates.org/crew/forms/2020-pirate-party-conference-questionnaire
21:26 < Malt> Gotcha
21:27 <@jokeefe> thanks
21:27 <@jokeefe> Computer donations
21:28 <@jokeefe> Got an offer of old wifi networking hardware
21:28 < Joe> Could we convert it to a mesh net?
21:29 <@jokeefe> possibly. will check with the donor
21:29 < Malt> That's be cool
21:30 < Joe> Maybe then use it to set up a permanent mesh in the city
of Boston. I would be happy to reach out to some members on the board
if that's the case.
21:31 < Joe> *City Council. If they don't bite perhaps Lowell or
Somerville will.
21:31 < Malt> Or a school demo.
21:31 <@jokeefe> It is from massmesh folks so odds are possibly
21:32 < Joe> Actually....
21:33 <@jokeefe> yes?
21:33 < Malt> ?
21:33 < Joe> With so many kids out of school, I may be able to reach
someone on a local school committee to get this set up. Kids that don't
have internet but are sent home a device to do school work would have
to put themselves at greater risk.
21:34 < Joe> We could connect the dots for Massmesh and school committees
across MA.
21:34 < Malt> Huh
21:34 <@jokeefe> will find out more
21:34 < Joe> So a lot of schools are doing a hybrid program and sending
tablets, etc home.
21:34 < Malt> Setup social distanced supervised education hubs in old
restaurants
21:34 < Joe> What if that student does not have internet?
21:35 < Joe> Or Massmesh?
21:35 < Malt> A roller rink is trying that
21:35 <@jokeefe> oh cool
21:36 <@jokeefe> that is all I have
21:37 < Malt> Same
21:37 < Joe> Please let me know what Massmesh says.
21:38 <@jokeefe> will do
21:38 < Joe> Motion to adjourn?
21:38 <@jokeefe> 2nd
21:38 < srevilak> au
21:38 < srevilak> aye
21:38 < srevilak> will post minutes
21:38 <@jokeefe> aye
21:38 < Joe> aye
21:38 <@jokeefe> thanks srevilak
21:39 <@jokeefe> have a great night
21:40 < Malt> Niiiight
