[9:12pm] jokeefe: excellent! [9:12pm] Joe: Though got hung up on what litigating is about and how it's a major tool of the powerful to crush the little guy. [9:13pm] Joe: Basically, lawyer you until you have no money and can't afford it. [9:14pm] jokeefe: Another forum for exercising power [9:14pm] Joe: No good solutions yet for such a thing, may want to contact someone from the ACLU or law students to come up with a solution. [9:15pm] Joe: Young legal pirates, how do you deal? [9:15pm] jokeefe: raise them right [9:15pm] jokeefe: [9:16pm] Joe: Lol, well, I meant the issue of legal filibustering [9:17pm] Joe: Cut through that and most corporations can't use their vast resources. Basically cut them at the knees. [9:18pm] jokeefe: If they don’t have vast resources then they cannot use them [9:19pm] jokeefe: Even if you can cut through legal filibustering, they will find a way to use their money to their advantage [9:20pm] jokeefe: Not that there aren’t problems with the legal system, of course [9:20pm] Joe: True but baby steps. [9:22pm] Joe: To much change too quickly will break the systems by which we are trying to fix. [9:24pm] jokeefe: Ok with quick change, but we need to be ready with a plan [9:24pm] Joe: Climate/energy, homelessness and hunger are all things we can eradicate in our lifetime though. The quickest way to that is ending the corruption and holding all to accountability [9:24pm] jokeefe: Anything to add to the platform items? [9:24pm] Joe: Corporate accountability?
