Minutes

Blog post about signal's intention to remove SMS support: https://signal.org/blog/sms-removal-android.

Conference went well. Looking forward to the next one in January.

Will poll pirates for their position on the four MA ballot questions, to get a sense of what our membership supports. We've already had video discussions on questions 1--3, but not on question 4. We'll try to send email asking people to participate in a poll. Poll will stay open for two weeks.

Pirate elections. Coming up in November. Nominations due by election day, Nov 8th. See website for link to vote.

Outreach. Want to get voter lists from local communities, identify pirates, and try to set up a meetup. Steve will do Arlington, Joe will do Lowell, and Jamie will do Somerville.

On Sunday, getting together to look at a possible event space in Lowell. We'll also record pirate news there. Jamie to bring camera and Steve to bring microphones.

Local elections. We've talked about (but haven't done) a how to run video series.
