Censorship

Internet censorship bill delayed, for now. Thanks for fighting it!

The Electronic Frontier Foundation is reporting that the Combating Online Infringements and Counterfeits Act (COICA) has been postponed until after the election.  This is great news.  Thank you to all of you who contacted Senators Brown and Kerry asking them to oppose it!

Unfortunately, they will be bringing it back, so we cannot let our guard down.  Instead we must continue to pressure the Congress to oppose this bill and other attempts to impose censorship on the internet.  If you haven’t done so already, please contact both Senators Brown and Kerry and urge them to oppose COICA:

John Kerry

Also, please sign the on-line petition against COICA and learn more about it.
