CryptoParty coming to Boston

Various folks, including members of the Mass. Pirates, will hold a CryptoParty on Sunday, Oct. 21 from noon-6pm. It will be held at The Sprouts, 339R Summer St., Somerville near Davis Square and the Davis Square MBTA stop.

They are planning to hold hands-on workshops on topics such as:

  • Using Tor and the Tor Browser Bundle
  • PGP/GnuPG key generation & use
  • Using Truecrypt and LUKS
  • Using SSL and authentication
  • Using VPNs
