Support the Internet Slowdown

We support the Internet Slowdown on September 10th, and urge you to do so as well.

Cable companies want end net neutrality so they can slow down (and break!) your favorite sites until they fork over money to move into the fastlane. The cable companies want fatter profits for themselves. You will pay with worse service, higher prices and fewer choices. As the CEO of Etsy noted, smaller sites and companies will go out of business if net neutrality is eliminated. Competition will suffer.

To fight back and draw more attention to this struggle, we need your help in covering the web with symbolic “loading” icons. We need to remind everyone what an Internet without net neutrality would look like, and drive record numbers of emails and calls to lawmakers.

We need your help.
