Tamerlan Tsarnaev: FBI Informant?

Michele McPhee has an article in Boston Magazine about Tamerlan Tsarnaev based on new research she has done and documents released via the Freedom of Information Act. One of the claims is that one or more government agencies acted on Tsarnaev’s behalf to push giving him US citizenship. They aren’t likely to do that out of the goodness of their hearts, so the McPhee argues that he was an informant for the FBI.

The article, and her book, will certainly give ammunition to the many people who question the FBI’s statements about what they did and knew prior to the Boston Bombing. The FBI, and other government agencies, must release all of the information they have on the Tsarnaevs unredacted.

Complete transparency is the only option.
