To vote in the March 3rd presidential primary, citizens have to register to vote by Wednesday, February 12th. Anyone registered under the Pirate designation can vote in any one of the four primaries: Democratic, Green-Rainbow, Libertarian and Republican.
You can register on-line, or by printing out a voter registration form, filling it out and mailing it in or dropping it off in person. Voter registration forms submitted by mail must be postmarked no later than the voter registration deadline. You can update your name, address and party on-line.
After the 12th, you can vote by absentee, at an early voting place in your municipality during Feb. 24-28 or on election day on March 3rd. We’ll post information on the candidates positions on issues of importance to Pirates soon.
