Civil Liberties Out And About

This Sunday, help us build a pirate ship!

On Sunday, June 9th, we will proudly hoist our flag and deploy our pirate ship at the Boston Pride Parade/Festival!

This Sunday at 1pm, Jeanne, Lauren and Sevan will build our four wheeled pirate ship. They will meet at 162 Hampshire Street in Cambridge near Inman Square. If you can help, please sign up or just show up. We are aiming for something like this German Pirate Party boat:

We also need your help during the parade or at the festival on June 9th. Feel free to sign up.

We encourage you to dress in your favorite pirate gear, be loud and show your support for civil liberties and Bradley Manning. Bring your friends and family and help us find more Pirates to join us!

Marchers will assemble starting at 10am and we need folks there by 11:30am. We will contact you with our actual assembly point (somewhere along Boylston St. between Copley Sq. and the Hynes Convention Center) before the parade. The parade starts promptly at noon so don’t be late!

We need mateys to work the table in shifts between noon and 6pm.

If you haven’t already, please sign up!

Finally, we will have a Pirate Lunch in the last week of June, so if you want to choose the date, please fill out our poll.

Thanks!

Captain James
