Last Thursday, the Senate Judiciary Committee voted the Eliminating Abusive and Rampant Neglect of Interactive Technologies Act of 2022 (EARN IT, S.3538) out of committee. If passed, this bill threatens our right to encrypt our communications without being spied on by the government.
