The Massachusetts legislature ends its session on July 31st and several bills need your help to get passed. Please look up your Mass. rep and senator and tell them to support them:
- Location Shield Act (H.357 / S.148). Maryland banned the sale of cellphone location data. Massachusetts can be next!
- An Act establishing the Massachusetts Data Privacy Act (H.4632 / S.2770). Less data gathered on us means less data used against us;
- Facial Recognition Bill (H.4359 / S.927). Disable the police surveillance->AI pipeline;
- Fusion center oversight bill (S.2758). Transparency of government surveillance;
- Police military equipment bill (H.2348). Police shouldn’t have MRAPs, Stingrays and machine guns.
