Today at 6pm the Brookline’s Advisory Committee is holding a meeting of its Public Safety Subcommittee to consider its recommendation on regulating law enforcement use of facial recognition technology in Brookline. The public is invited to attend and participate.

If this recommendation passes, Brookline could be the next municipality in Massachusetts to ban or limit governmental use of facial recognition technology.

The meeting starts at 6pm and is scheduled to end at 8pm. It will be in the School Committee Meeting Room at Brookline Town Hall, 333 Washington Street, 5th Floor, Brookline, MA 02445.
