There is a No War in Iran protest today from 2pm to 4pm. It is outside the Massachusetts state house at 24 Beacon Street near the Park Street MBTA station in downtown Boston. It is initiated by Codepink and the ANSWER Coalition and endorsed by Massachusetts Peace Action.
We haven’t endorsed it, but ending our forever wars is an issue we have long advocated. I hope some of you will join me.
There is another protest outside the Rhode Island State House in Providence. It starts at 2pm on the Smith Street side and 2:30-3:30pm on the State House lawn side. People going to the first rally at 2pm plan to join the 2:30 rally afterwards.
I expect there will be more in the coming days and weeks.
Also, our next tech meeting is this Sunday, January 5th from 11am to 1:00pm. It will be at Diesel Cafe, 257 Elm St, in Davis Sq., Somerville. We will work on our discussion/decision making system.
