We are sponsoring the Anti-Imperialist Picnic/Cookout on Monday, July 5th from noon to 6pm. It will be at the Allston/Brighton Charles Riverside at 1071 Soldiers Field Rd, Allston. Look out for the red and black banners and the Jolly Roger. Come spend the day with advocates of freedom and autonomy!
It will be right next to the canoe and kayak rental location. There are 3 parking areas along Soldiers Field Road. There will be separate grills for Vegans and non-Vegans. Feel free to bring whatever food and drinks you’d like. Please bring blankets and chairs, frisbees, balls, etc.
This year there will be an Open Mic for poetry, music and planned performances including Rafael Medina, Antuan Castro del Rio, Ben Grosscup, Kristen & Peter, Michael- Conjunto Anfibio, Jenelle (stand up), Haley, Face painting, Community Reading of Frederick Douglass, and more from our fellow anti-imperialist artists!
